The Garw Valley Carnival

The procession will be leaving at Blaengarw Rugby Club at 12pm.
The street parade will be as impressive as in past years so don't miss this fantastic spectacle and come early.

The entertainment is non-stop! The highlights include the winners of Garw's Got Talent and Garry's disco for fun and games throughout the day and will continue into the evening with a very popular firework display at 9pm
There will be many stalls at this years fair including "Ye Olde Victorian Fair photo booth"

Things needed for the carnival
Bright material, sequins, bamboo (all sizes and thicknesses), nylon stockings / tights, net, any thin cotton - especially flowered curtains.
Urgently required : -
backpack aluminium frames, babycarriers, old buggies with wheels that work, bicycle helmets, lighweight tubes, gold and metallic paint.
The Carnival theme is 'Birds, Bugs & Beasts' and the workshops will start on Monday, 2nd August at 10am - anyone interested please come along.
Theme for this years Carnival is Bugs and Beasts (giant beasts and insects).
Any ideas from the public would be great!
